1. Information We Collect
When you use Lone Star Parole Solutions, we collect the following information:
- Account information: Your email address (used for magic link authentication)
- Questionnaire responses: Information you provide about the incarcerated person, including name, TDCJ number, offense details, sentence information, rehabilitation history, support system, housing, and employment plans
- Payment information: Transaction records processed through Stripe (we do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles all payment data securely)
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps for service improvement
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Generate your personalized parole packet
- Process your payment and manage your account
- Provide customer support and packet revisions within the 30-day window
- Maintain service security and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
We do NOT use your information for marketing, advertising, or sale to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share your data only as necessary to provide the service:
- Stripe: Payment processing (Stripe processes and stores your card data under PCI-DSS compliance)
- OpenRouter & Anthropic (Claude AI): Your questionnaire answers are transmitted through OpenRouter to Claude AI for packet generation. OpenRouter acts as an API intermediary and is subject to its own privacy policy. The underlying AI model (Claude) is provided by Anthropic, whose data usage policies apply. Your data is not used to train AI models.
- Legal requirements: If required by court order, subpoena, or legal process
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for any purpose.
4. Data Retention
Your questionnaire responses and generated packets are retained for 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, your data is automatically deleted from our systems. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support@lonestarparolesolutions.com. Payment records are retained as required by financial regulations.
5. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Authentication uses secure, time-limited magic links — no passwords are stored. Our database is hosted on Supabase with row-level security, ensuring each user can only access their own data. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data at any time (automatic after 30 days)
- Portability: Download your generated packet and answers while they are retained
7. Children's Privacy
Lone Star Parole Solutions is not intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
8. Sensitive Information Notice
The information you provide may include details about criminal convictions, incarceration, and personal relationships. This is sensitive personal data. We handle it with the highest level of care and security. It is used exclusively for generating your parole packet and is never shared beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
